Now that I am in Montana it is SNOWING!!!!!!!! I can not believe it, well actually I can as it is not the first or last June snow storm that us Montanans will experience in our life time.

Button Bands moving along on the Dale sweater, and I am dying to get my hands on the yoke sweater for myself but that will just have to wait until this other one is DONE!!!

Finished up some lace for the knitting exchange as well which needs to be blocked!

Then I doubt you'll want to hear that it has been unseasonably warm here. Last week at the beginning it was in the low 70's and by Friday it was muggy and 93. We went from late May to August in one week. It's much nicer today, low humidity and a high of 82 expected.
I can feel that snowball whizzing my way now! Razzer

I almost wish it were snowing here - good day for knitting. In Iowa it is flooding. Cedar Falls, in NE Iowa, is expecting a crest of about 103 feet - the downtown has been evacuated. In Des Moines the water from Saylorville Dam is expected to reach downtown by about 10AM. It seems like a repeat of the floods of 1993 - except that Des Moines is much better prepared now. Then we lost our water supply - now they have very tall flood gates around the water works and levees have been built. The four major bridges into downtown have been blocked off. I'm fortunate to not live in a flood area, but am thinking of all those in the MidWest who are being flooded now.

Saturday 95 degrees, Sunday 96 degrees and severe thunderstorms, Monday 100 degrees, Tuesday 98 degrees. Heat Wave! Too hot to knit.

We had severe thunderstorms last night that cooled off the joint.

This was Suffern, NY's weather(extreme southeastern New York State). Today was a "cool" 88 degrees.

Yesterday afternoon we lost power at 5:30, for 22 hours. Rain and lots of trees and branches down. It did cool off from 90 to 60 today.

No snow yesterday, just cool to chilly most of the day. Then I saw all extremely high water on the news in Iowa, heat in other places and rain in others. Gosh! What a mess!

Hoping all are well in this strange weather!
