Hi,

I am new to the board, new to TKGA also. I have been knitting for a while but only got involved with a guild here in CT a month ago and TKGA in April. I want to get involved in the fiber arts industry and do that full time. I am the mother of two sons, both US Marines and my favorite item to knit is SOCKS!

SmilerWelcome to the Board. It is made up of great people who love to answer questions and try to solve any problems. I'm new to the Marine Corps League Auxiliary, married to a Marine....(You know there are NO former MARINES). Semper Fi. Grace, Love and Prayers. God Bless.

Welcome to the board, Barb. Lots of nice and helpful people here. Hope you like it as well as all of us do.
My brother was in the Navy, my BIL is in the Air Force, nearly 20 years now. Most of my uncles in one service or another. They all have my respect and undying gratitude.

Thanks Everyone!

I post on Sockitters.com too. It is my favorite place to visit. I am really liking this place too. I am currently knitting lace and have two shawls on the needles. One for my mother-in-law and the other for me. I want to finish spinning the wool with my drop spindle. I learned how to use it this weekend at a class my dh paid for as a Mother's Day gift! I owe him another pair of socks as a THANKS!
