It took me some time, mainly due to the fact that life keeps getting in the way. I got my swatches back and was fairly pleased with Arendas comments. Have a few tension issues here and there and have found some great advice in an article by the lady herself..Arenda.
I have not got around to starting level 2 yet, have been down with something viral, so far it IS NOT the swine flu thing. So I have been careful about keeping myself out of the public mainstream, and sleeping a lot. Hope to get started this weekend, have not felt like knitting...then I know I am sick! But that has not stopped me from shopping online!

Get well soon. I hate that when you have the time to knit and are too sick to do it. What a sad waste of some precious knitting time. Wink

Thanks Diana
I am feeling better now. I was tested for the nasty flu virus and thankfully it came back negative, I was a little worried. Seems it was just good old fashioned flu.
Agreed, wasted time being home and too sick to knit.

I have a question for you Ed. Does the Basics course come in levels? When you said you had the first level done and were going to start the second level, it made me wonder. I never took the Basics course so I don't know how its all put together.
And I hope you are feeling much better so you can knit away the beautiful days of spring!

Yes there are three levels three lessons. I have found the coarse to be very beneficial. It really makes you look closely at your knitting. It is my hopes to teach more classes in the future and this serves as an excellent program to truly understand the basics of knitting. Anyone who want to improve their knowledge of knitting would find this coarse most helpful. Thank you for the kind words. I am out of town this weekend and have my knitting with me, I forgot to bring my knitting for level two which I wanted to get some work done on this weekend. At least I am not totally without.
