I am answering the questions for swatch 4 (question 4) It asks you to compare swatch 3 and 4 and see which swatch the increases are less noticeable. This was kind of tricky because the increases stand out more to me in 3 than 4. I don't know if this is because 3 has three rows between the increases and 4 is every other row so they seem to blend better. Any input would be most appreciated.
Thanks
Ed

I would answer it just as you have here-if the increases are less noticable in swatch 4 to you, that's what I would answer.

Were the increases the same ones in both swatches? That might be part of the answer too. But like Sheepish said, basically what you asked seems to be the answer! Isn't that fun?! Razzer

Thanks Sheepish and Diana, After reading it today, I guess I did answer my own question! The increases were different, but similar.
Some days my brain is not working like it should! I have been taking pain medication for my knees for almost two months now and a rather large dose of it. I need to have both knees replaced and this cold and changing weather really aggravates it. I do have an appointment today with a specialist to find out what the next step will be. So if I post something that seems like I am having a brain hiccup...you can say...ed's brain is under the control of the evil medication! lol
Thanks again

Knee surgery translates to knitting time you know. Hopefully the weather should warm up soon-good luck to you!

LOL...I love how knitters think alike! I am actually going to have lots of time after July because I will be starting semi early retirement. If surgery does happen I will be taking off 3 months, then return back to work but only two days a week. After making this decision I have doubled my stash building. Every few weeks feel like Christmas! I have numerous projects planned, a couple of intricate afghans and tons of socks. I think I will love having the free time, it will be the first time in almost 30 years.

Ed,
Enjoy the free time! Just don't forget to get up once in a while to keep your new knees limber. No sense having the surgery if you're not going to use them! You know, get up to go to the yarn store for instance. Big Grin

Why do you think I will subject myself tot he surgery?...lol so I can go shopping! I am actually starting physical therapy next week and will continue after the surgery. My condo is large enough to keep me up and moving with cleaning.

Ah, yes, cleaning. What a waste of good knitting time! Wink
Well, good luck with the physical therapy and the surgery.
