If you want to quote the whole of a post as above. click on the "" icon on the first line of the post you want to quote instead of the "reply" button.

If you just want to quote a part of it eg

put a quote

, copy the part, Hit the "reply" button, click on the "QUOTE" button in the "Instant UBB Code" section at the bottom of the reply page, and then paste your selection between the tags that come up.
