My mother in law and I are are seaching for a baby sling pattern. Either crochet or knit would be fine. Red heart had a pattern we saw the picture we saw but we could never locate it Help!
Why do you need a pattern? You have done the hard part already because you know the shape you want to make. Just make it up. For the first 10,000 years of the craft no-one needed a pattern, and neither do you. If you consider you have the skills to make a baby-sling, just get on and do it. The baby will be none the wiser!
I am sure crochet will be best to take the weight. Knitting would stretch too much.
Have fun, best wishes, John
I knit, therefore I am.
