Confused again! Do I knit 3 then decrease or knit two and then decrease on the 3rd stitch, on the right. Then on the left decrease on the 4&5th stitch or the 3&4th stitch ? Thanks for your help. I really thought I knew how to knit.

On mine, I knitted three then decreased, then knitted to within 5 stitches, decreased then knitted the last three. Since it passed, that must be correct.
Don't worry, you do know how to knit, you're just over-thinking everything now, a very common phenomonom here. Just like I tell every person who starts out, this isn't a contest, your yarn and needles won't be confiscated, you won't need to wear a scarlet letter, whatever! Wink This is a self-study program, so use it as it's intended, to educate yourself, and show off your skills as you build or reinforce them.

I am more than happy to provide the pep talk. I about drove myself nuts when I did level 1 last year. I knew even then, that I wasn't in a contest, but I wasn't sure just how "picky" the reviewers were going to be, and how perfect I needed to be. I knew that I wasn't expected to make something "machine-made" perfect, but how close did I need to come? Well, my swatches weren't all as perfect as I would have liked, but all but one passed, and that was only because I didn't center the cable correctly on the swatch that was my choice.
I did need to re-do a couple of questions, but that was more a matter of my answers were either incomplete or a little vague. Most people do have to re-do something, but maybe you'll be one of the lucky few who gets it all right the first time. But if you don't, the reviewers will tell you exactly what you need to fix or clarify so there are rarely any re-do's of the re-do's.
