I am about ready to start the Masters Program. I just checked out the bibliography and am wondering why several books are listed in red.
What is the significance of a RED listing?

Those are additions or corrections to the original bibliography.

(I only know this because there's another forum, the "bibliography index" forum, where the person who created it answered this same question!)

An updated bibliography was sent to TKGA at least a month ago. When (if ever) it will be updated on the website is a good question.

I'm just finishing up the paperwork for Level I and was wondering if we are only supposed to use the books listed in the Bibliography. I have found "The knitter's handbook" by XRX Books to be a major source of material but it is not listed. It's surprising just how much we knit from experience and memory but when it comes down to finding references - look out!

No, you can use other books. That list is just a resource, a list of possibilities for those who don't know what books are out there.
