I am on Level 1 and just starting to fill out my swatch tags. The instructions say to list the reference sources. Does the committee want a reference source for every technique done on the swatch, or only the technique the swatch is highlighting? in other words, for swatch #1 do I list a source for the cast-on, bind-off, knit stitch, purl stitch, and bar increase - or just for the bar increase and how to space them out?

I used references that pointed specifically to the techniques unique to the swatch. That is, if the purpose of the swatch was to use bar increases, I used references for that technique. I only used references for cast on and bind off techniques if I did something different on that swatch, like using Twisted German cast on or Cable cast on or come combination of cast on techniques.
