Hello fellow knitters!

I’m doing some research and would LOVE some feedback on a couple of things. Here are the questions, feel free to answer a few, or all, as you feel led to.

What’s the biggest benefit you receive from participating in the TGKA Master Knitting Program forum?

How often do you stop into this forum? (daily, weekly, monthly?)

When researching for your Masters work, (questions, reports, etc.) where do you turn FIRST on the Internet and why? Please provide a link or two if you have them.

I also need to know if it’s okay to quote you (using your forum name, of course).

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts and experiences!!!!

I'm happy to answer!
The biggest benefit I get from this forum is the sense that I'm not alone in my struggles to become the best knitter I can. There is always a willing person to help with a problem, big or small.

I come in here most every weekday morning, so average 5 days a week. Sometimes I'll pop in here during lunch at work, but not often, as we are discouraged from using the internet at work for personal reasons.

I don't do much research online as I don't know about enough sites. I've been to a couple that were recommended here, but so far haven't gotten anything from them that I didn't already have in my books in my living room. The one I did go to that would be trustworthy in their information was (I think) knitty.com. I'm pretty sure that's the one anyhow.

Feel free to quote away, I love this site! I also belong to Ravelry and it's TKGA group, but don't use the site much as it is so large and I find it harder to use. But I do get in there a couple of times a week.

I learned to be a good deal more careful with my work. I have tended to be a bit slipshod and to dash off and get started before I really get all the details. I still do that to some extent, but I am better. I also learned several new techniques. I check the board a couple of times most days. I'm signed on to several other boards but rarely check them. Being a bit of a fuddy duddy I used the Internet very little in my research and depended mostly on my extensive book and magazine collection instead. I don't mind a bit if you use my name since I've already said most of this on the board anyway.

I come to the forum whenever I can, so almost every day. I think the largest benefit I get from the forum is being able to talk with other knitters, sharing advice and ideas.
You can quote me if you want.
