Just wondering if the master's course for machine knitting requires any particular gauge of machine or whether it can be done on any type of machine? I searched the forums but couldn't find anything about it. I have a standard gauge machine but only get to use it when I'm at my parents' house for the holidays, but if any gauge is fine, I have a bulky machine that I can use anytime. If only standard gauge is allowed for the course, though, I guess I'll wait and order the course pack later.

You may use any gauge machine for your submissions as long as you use the same machine throughout the entire level. In other words if you choose to do your swatches with your bulky just be sure to have all submissions done on your bulky.

When you do level 2 or 3 you may switch to a standard machine, midgauge or stay with your bulky machine.
It is your choice.

I hope this is clear. We look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for the information, Pamela. I think I'll wait until I finish my level I hand knitting course, but then I think I'll aim for the machine one, too.
